🐰 Our First Time at SG Pet Festival. We Stepped Out of the Box!

🐰 Our First Time at SG Pet Festival. We Stepped Out of the Box!

When we first saw the Singapore Pet Festival pop up on our Instagram feed (thank you, algorithm), we didn’t know if we were ready.

It took us a whole week to decide:
Should we invest our time and money to join as an exhibitor?

This would be the first time we stepped out of our comfort zone. But just like we did with Lavieloo, we took a deep breath, said yes, and put one foot forward.

Then, Angie from @clubpets.sg gave us a call. We confirmed our participation... just 4 days before the event. 😳

💭 So many questions ran through our heads:

  1. We don’t have stock to sell.

  2. We’re not even planning to sell anything at our booth.

  3. Will anyone even come see a prototype?

But we showed up anyway.

🎯 Our goal was simple:

To meet fellow bunny owners, build brand awareness, and most importantly, to let people know we’re the real deal.

And by the end of Day 3, we truly felt we had achieved that.

Thank you to everyone who came by with curious questions... from how-to-clean to bunny comfort, our founder, D was more than happy to share about the design, sustainability, and the wild ride that brought Lavieloo to life.
(And no, he wasn’t trying to sell you one. We’re not quite there yet.)

Meanwhile, our co-founder Zul was out and about, connecting with other bunny businesses, handing out name cards, and hopefully planting seeds for future collaborations.

And if you happened to swing by on Friday and saw a lady with bangs jovially sitting behind the booth...
That’s our jingle maker. 🎶 @michellekalimba
Yup, we’re debuting our Lavieloo jingle in a few days. You’ll want to turn your sound on for that one. 😄

Thanks for hopping by! This was just the beginning.

Here are some of photos of that journey

Staying true to our mission, we reused cardboard for our booth setup. We thought it’d be easy... but wow, it took way more effort than expected.

Just like with our prototype, we work best when we can see it — so we mocked up the booth layout in real life before the event.

From bare space to bunny Poo-wer booth. Here’s a quick look at how it all came together.

This was the first impression for anyone who walked up to our booth. Minimal and honest.

A few of you dropped by after watching her livestream. Thank you for making the trip to see Lavieloo in person!

So we whipped up some “Spicy Hay” sticker designs the night before the event, because why not? 😄

We don’t often see buns at public events, but Latte was kind enough to grace our booth and strike a pose.

And just like that, our first SG Pet Festival is over. Thank you for the support, the chats, and the bun energy! 💚
